I highly recommend finding a few minutes each day to consciously connect with your breath. Your breath is a vehicle to your inner wisdom and resilience. Create new neural pathways and a steadiness in the system.
Allowing the active mind to drift into a dream like space, even for a few minutes, can signal safety to your body-mind. This automatically releases more oxytocin (the hormone of love) to your baby. Regular practice reduces adrenaline and releases endorphins and dopamine helpful for labor.
Find a cozy place to practice with pillows. Sitting up or lying on your left side. You can listen with headphones or an eye pillow if that feels right.
Be mindful not to listen to this meditation while driving a vehicle and please reach out if you need more customized labor support. You are not alone.
